"My Trip left from Ridgecrest heading south to Southern California before heading to centrol California where we got a new RV and put the old one in stroage. Then headed north into Orgeon and Wishington to visit with Braina and frinds. leaving there to South Dakota to visit with a frind of Barbara. Leaving there and going to visit with Evan over the 4th of July. Aunt Hilda was also on our way east and we had lunch with her. We had to be in Walkarusa IN. to have some work done before continuing on to NY. In NY we put the coach in to storage and stay with Laurie, then took the coach and Nick north up to Schroon River for two weeks, Laurie, JR and the girls came up for the weekend. Leaving Schroon River, Laurie's and New York we headed to Hershey PA., then on south, VA, NC, SC, went to see Cinda and Ben, GA, went to Savannah, St. Simons Island and took a tour of the Okefenokkee Swamp, and then on into florida.

"My Trip started in centrol Florida by May, had the coach serviced at Monaco in Wildwood, Lunch with Diann in Pensacola, lunch in Lake Conroe with Jack Ryder. Visited with Evan for the weekend in Castle Rock. Went over Loveland Pass instead of going through the Eisenhower Memonal Tunnel. Went to Zion National Park. When in Ridgecrest we painted the inside of the house, a new cooler, put paver in the front and got it rended again. Headed to the centrol California then to the Redwood coast. In the Oregon coast we visited with Patty and Mike. We spent the one day riding the ferry in the San Juan Islands(Fridy Harbor). Another day Ron gave us a tour around Fidalgo Island("Padilla Bay", "Skagit Bay", "Deception Pass") on his cabin cruser. Had the thermastate changed on the Cummins in Renton. Visted with Braina and Hali, Betty and Mike spent the weekend with us in Newport. Spent another weekend with Evan and family. Meet up with Juli in Denton TX for dinner. Went to Branson, MO for four day and three nights. Took a driving tour at the Vichsburg National Military Park. Visited with Cinda and Ben.

"My Trip from Florida, before leaving Florida in July, in March we went down to the Venice area for a visit with our friend Ron O'Brian and his sister Carolin. Then heading north to Fair Play, South Carolina where we stop to go visit with Cinda and Ben. Leaving there we headed to North Carloine, then on to Hershey, PA. and New York Catskill area where we could spent time with Laurie and family. Headed to Niagara Falls for some sigh seeing before heading south back to Hershey, Pa. While there we went to Gettyburg National Military Park for a day. On into Front Royal Va., where we took a day trip into DC to visit the Pentagon 911 Memoral. On south though North Carloine, South Carloine and into Columbus Ga., Fort Benning to attend Nick's graduation from Army basic training. After leaving Georga we stop to see our friends Mary and Marv Hill in Silver Springs.

(2010) "My Trip from Florida, Well, we left Florida in the second week of April, we stop in Ocala to have lunch with our friends Marv Mary Hill, going north on I-75 and getting fuel just north of the Florida Georga state line we drove to the Unadilla exit to spend the two nights a ROD-Southren Trails RV.

Next we stayed at ROD-North Shores Resort near Greensboro GA. thats half way between Atlanda and Ft. Gorden. While there we was able to spend time with Cinda and Ben where they helped out Barbara by quilted four of her table runers. Going to Ft. Gorden to have dinner with Nick and taken him to the Atlanda Aquareum one weekend and the next weekend spending time with him at the Augusta mall another weekend. We even had time to attend a TEA party at the State Captiol on April 15th.
Then we headed west, down to I-10, through Al, MS, staying in Louisana at ROD-Abita Springs for a night, at TTN-Colorado River just north of San Antonio for two or three night. We traveled a long day to make it to New Mexico welcome center before stopping for the night.
The next day it was windy all the way through New Mexico and into Arizona where we stopped at ROD-Colorado River Oasis RV that night near the Colorado River.
Next we stop at TTN-Palm Springs for about two weeks, where our friends Joe and Joan Beilins came down from Ridgecrest for the weekend.
Then on to a TTN-Solodad Canyon campground that is just south of Palmdale California about an hour and a half from Ridgecrest, where the house is that we have it rented out.
We stayed next in Ridgecrest at Bertrand RV for a week, where we visited with lots of our friends.
Our plans were to go north to visit with our granddaughter Briana in Sand Point, Idaho but it was still snowing in that area so we went to TTN-Las Vegas for two week until the weather warmed up in Idaho. While there we, yes we did go to down town on Fremont St casinos, took in a show on the strip. Oh, I did have a ride on the coster at New York New York hotel & casino.
We had the coach's yearly serviced done there also. Spent the next weekend near Hurricane, Utah at ROD-St George, the temps were in in the 100s.
Then one night in Plymouth Utah at RPI-Hot Springs, the temps were in the 50s, one night at Missola-KOA in Missoula Montana before getting here in Newport, Washington, that's near Sand Point, Idaho.
While there we visited with the granddaughter Briana and great-granddaughter Halli. We also spent an afternoon with our friends Mike & Betty Kennedy and had breakfast the Monday we planed to leave the area but sense Halli had been throw from a horse on Saturday and spent that night and Sunday night in ICU at Sacred Heart Children Medical Center in Spokane, WA. We was able to visit her Saturday night, Sunday and again on Monday before she was released late in the afternoon. We spent time with her on Tuesday while Briana ran some errons, she seem to be OK now.
Tuesday morning we was heading East, it was a long day, stopping at a rest area for the night then onto PA-Riverveiw RV in Loveland Colorado Thursday night.
Leaving mid morning we were into Jellystone-CastleRock campground around noon. Evan come over to spent some time with as we setup, then we headed into Castle Rock to visit with the rest of them.
After four days we headed North and then East to Nabraska, stopping in Columbus at HWY-81 RV for two night. While there we took the car north to visit with Aunt Hilda, Deletta and Don.
Leaving Columbus we headed east through Iowa, Illinors and into TTN-Horseshoe Lake just outside of Saint Bernice, Indiana.
Next on to TTN-Indian Lakes near Batesville half way between Indianapolis and Cincinnati. Note, cell service was bad, it work sometimes. Our next stop was at TTN-Wilmington near Wilmington Ohio, great town. Leaving Wilmington we headed east on to Hershey PA., on the way we ran into some very ran all the way on the PA Turnpike, it stop as soon as we got off of it. While in Hershey we drove to near the Poconos to pick up Rhapsody and Samanth so Laurie and JR could spend the weekend at the races. Then droped the girls off on the way up to Catskill Adventure Resort for two weeks.
Heading south to Hershey again for six days before driving to Skyline R + R near Front Royal, Va. We stayed there so we could go into DC for Glenn Beck's "8-28". We headed back to Hershey for three weeks, while there we had the AC worked on at Grumbine RV.
Leaving Hershey early for a long, ten hour day on the road before getting to Forest Lake in North Carlolina for two day, then on to Carlolina Landing again for two nights. while there we went to visit Cinda and Ben.
On south to Unadilla Ga at Southren Trails RV for four nights before driving on to Ralphs for the weekend. The rest of the year we spent between Orlando and Peace River. Barbara flew to NY before I did for Christmas, I flew back before the end of the year but she stayed for two mone weeks before returning to Florida
(2011)
Well, we left Florida after Barbara’s doctor visits let us and that was at the end of July.
So we headed north into Georgia where we meet up with Cinda, Ben and Bret Denney, Jennifer, Matt, Nat, John, Leo and Henry Petters.
Then on to South Carolina to attend Evan's Basic Training Graduation at Fort Gordon in Columbia SC. Laurie and the girls flew down from NY, Danny from Kwajalein and his friend Diane from Fairfax. Amy, Wayne and Joshua also flew in from Colorado, Cinda drove down from Atlanta, all to attend and celebrate with Evan.
We took Laurie and the girls, headed north to North Carolina then on to Hershey PA before getting to NY.
Leaving NY it was south and west in to Texas so we could spend some time with Nick at Fort Hood, Killeen TX. Then we needed to get back to Florida for more Doctor Appointments.
On the way we stopped near Houston and had dinner with an old Navy buddy of mine before going on our way to Florida.
Barbara had her operation.
Our tenant was moving out so we headed west to California, leaving Wednesday morning we was in Palm Spring by Friday night. Then on to Ridgecrest to get the house ready to rent again.
The house was rented again and the new family was moving in by the 10th of December but we could not wait.
Barbara had another Doctor appointment on the 5th so it was another speed run back to Florida.
Was in Florida for the rest of the year except for Christmas week when I flew to Laurie’s.

(2012) We were in Florida until after all the doctor visits and that was in early May. We headed north and then on to West Florida on I-10. Our first stop was at Martin Lake Resort in Mississippi. While there we made a trip to New Orleans for a riverboat cruse and lunch.
From there we stop near Lake Charles's and the Isla of Capri Casino for just one night. Heading west on to spend some time with Nick at Fort Hood, Killeen TX.
Then it was again time to move on, this time heading north into OK, called Sara to see if she would meet us for lunch, she could and we had a great visit her.
Went on north into Nebraska where we was able to go visit Aunt Hilda for lunch.
After leaving there it was on to be with Evan at his High School graduation and visit with Amy and the rest of the family in Colorado.
Leaving there we had to get on to check on the house in California. While on the way we had gotten into some hi winds north of Las Vegas and the windshield have to be replaced. While it was waiting for the new part we took the car and went to Ridgecrest to check on the house.
Once the RV was fixed we headed eastbound, stopping for a short visit again with Evan, Amy, Wayne and Joshua.
Traveling east we again stop to see Aunt Hilda. Leaving there we were to be in New York for Sam birthday so we arrived there by the 16th just in time.
When it was late August we again on the road heading south, while on the way to Gulf Port, Mississippi to see Evan at the "CB" School we heard from our tenant in California that he was moving out. We did get to spend a little time with Evan.
Then on the road heading west to Killeen with a short visit with Nick.
Then is was a speed run to Ridgecrest to get the house ready to rent again. We made some upgrades to the house that took about a month. By that time it was getting late in the year and the weather could be turning cold so it was a speed run to Florida.
We did have time to have dinner with Nick. Only there over night before moving on to be in Florida in two days later.
Was in Florida for the rest of the year except for Christmas week when I flew to Laurie’s.

(2013) Early January we (the Valentines, Latsons and us)took a four day cruise to Cozumel.
Then in middle February Danny flew in to Atlanta for some classes so we drove up in the car and stayed at Cinda and Ben, Nick flew in from Fort Hood but Evan and Laurie could not make it. Then we went back to Florida.
When all the annual dentist and doctor appointment were done we headed north with stops in South Carolina and Pennsylvania before getting to Laurie just in time for Sam BirthDay.
In September we headed south with stops at Hershey, PA where we were able to catch up with Susie for lunch.
Then on South to South Carolina where we parked the RV and drove over to Dillard, GA to meet up with the Valentines and the Latsons for three days of site seeing and of course eating. Then returning to South Carloina to get the RV and heading south.
Stayed there until Christmas when we flew to Laurie's.

(2014)
We stayed close to Florida this year but drove the RV so we could visited with Evan on family weekend at Fort Benning, GA. While there we made a side trip to Smyrna, GA to visit and quilt with Cinda and Ben. Then we drove back to Fort Benning then on to Florida.
We attended the Pasco H.S. reunion with the “Cruise Bunch” Ron,Pat, Billy and Wanda and really enjoyed the Bellamy Brother’s concert.
Barbara had carpal tunnel in both of my hands that was getting worse every day so she had them fix, they are fine.
We drove the car to spend Thanksgiving with Cinda and Ben. Flew to NY so we could spend Christmas with Laure and family.
Danny flew to NY from Kwajalein and a friend Erika from Ridgecrest. We had a special surprise for Danny, we had Evan fly up from North Carolina to be with us.

(2015)
After getting back from Laurie’s for the holidays it was another year when we stayed close to Florida most of the year, Barbara had some heal problems early in the year. Then she went to get new glasses the examination found she had a macular hole in the right eye so she had surgery to correct that.
We did get out of Florida in July to visit with Evan at Fort Bragg in North Carolina just before he was getting out of the Army.
All changed in early November when we headed to Pensacola for the Blue Angels homecoming weekend. We headed to California after the air show. Danny flew state side for some classes and we were meeting up with him in Ridgecrest before he heads back to Kwajalein.
Barbara flew to NY for Christmas. I stayed in California with the RV.

(2016)
This year started in California for us, our tenant was scheduled to move out in Febuary but stayed an additional month and left in March. When the renter moved out, on the inside we had the carpets cleaned, removed the wallpaper in the bathroom, painted the popcorn cealing and bathroom walls, refinished the shower tub, replaced rollers on both the shower and sliding doors.
The outside I trimmed the trees, both front and back yards. Removed the roots from the front trees that were going under the sidewalk and planter walls. removed the sprinkler risers and capped the their lines for the yard, replaced the sod with rocks in the front yard. Cleaned and serviced the cooler. Replaced the side garage door. we closed up the house and at the end of May we departed Ridgecrest and headed East.
From Ridgecrest we stopped in Las Vegas for a week. we continued east on I-15 to Grand Juction for the night and then on to Monument Co and stayed at Colorado Heights RV to visit with Evan and family.
Heading south and east to Lake Tawakoni just east of Dallas Texas for the night, then a long days drive to reach TT Orlando. We stayed in Florida for the rest of the summer.
Early in November we headed to Pensacola for the 70th anniversary of the Blue Angels home comming weekend. after that we headed east first stop was at Isle of Capri near Lake Charles for a night, second night was at TT-Colorado near Columus Texas, third night a rest area and forth we made it TT-Palm Spring CA. The next day we travaled to TT-Soledad Canyon just south of Palmdale CA. we went bck to TT-Palm Spring CA throught Christmas and return to TT-Soledad Canyon by the end of the year.

(2017)
We started the year in Soledad Canyon and then we moved to Ridgecrest for about two months getting the house cleaned and doing things that will make the house sellable.

One of the Air-conditioners on the coach needed to be replaced so I ordered two new units and installed them. After two and a half weeks the back one stopped working so I brought it to Clark's to have them check it out. It needed to be replaced so they ordered another one and when it comes in they would install it.

First part of April we headed to Colorado so we would be there for the birth of Taylor’s baby. While on the way there the coach started losing power. We stopped at a Kenworth repair shop in Colorado Springs to have them check it out. They said the antifreeze was low, they added some and said the surge tank was leaking and needed to be replace when we got back to Ridgecrest. We were on our way again to Colorado Height RV park. Danny flew in to Denver and stayed with us.

Evan and Taylor had a little girl, the family is growing. We got together with Evan, Amy, Wayne and Vicky for dinner one afternoon. Barbara, Amy and Vicky worked cleaning up the inside of the house and Danny, Evan, Wayne and I worked on putting a fence in the back yard for the dogs.

After a week Danny left and we headed back to Ridgecrest, well the coach was still losing power so we stopped back at the Kenworth repair shop to have it looked at again. This time they ran another test and found the fuel filters needed to be replaced. That seem to help for the most part, it still got hot from time to time.

Back in Ridgecrest Clark’s said the Air-conditioner was in and I needed to bring the coach by to have it installed, I did. We had a buyer for the house so we installed a new dishwasher and microwave. We got a 45’ shipping container to put all the stuff we had in the storage units. We emptied the units and made arrangement to have it shipped to Dade City in a month or so.

In the second week of June we headed up US-395 to see Briana and Halli. In Idaho we visited for four days then we were on our way. We stopped in South Dakota and visited with Aunt Hilda and DeLetta. Off to Florida again, first campground was a U S Army Canal Campground in the land between the lakes.

That was a thursday night about 9 Barbara had a heart attack, I took her to the hospital for tests. After the test they said it was a mild one. The Doctor said we could go only if we went straight to Florida and to her own Doctor. On the way we stopped in Atlanda to have dinner with Ben and Cinda on friday night. The next day we drove all the way to Ralph's and had dinner with Ralph.

Sunday night Barbara had her second heart attack, I drove her in to Dade City hospital, they ran tests and said she would be staying the night so more test could be run in the morning. The test in the morning show she needed a heart bypass so they moved her to Tampa General Hospital for the operation. Laurie flew down and Danny was on the way. The operation went well and she was on the way to recovery.

She work hard in rehab for months and it paid off. By the first of December she was able to travel so she went to visit Laurie for Christmas, I would drive up for ten days or so later.

Just before Christmas Danny called and said he was in Honolulu for tests because he was not feeling well. The tests from 12/20, 12/26 and 12/29 came back showing he had (peripheral “T” Cell Lymphoma) . we knew that someone would be going to Honolulu to be with him and help get him to his appointments. December 26th I took the car and heading back to Florida, stopping at Nick's so he could help drive.

I dropped him off at Oma then on to Ralph's. I made arrangement for a flight on the 30th out of Tampa throught Denver then on to Honolulu. Arrived there and drove to Danny’s hotel, he was having chills and running a temperature. the next day Sunday he was having the same alternating between the chills an a temperature in 2 to 4 hour cycles.
