June 27, 2005 at 9:06am we pulled out of Ridgecrest and started our trip to Sand Point ID. to visit Briana and family. Heading west on Inyokern Rd then taking US-395 North bound. We stop a Lake Crowley pullout at 12:21pm to have lunch, then back on the road by 12:56pm. We reach Conway summit(8138 ft.)by a13:59, then on to the Cal/Nev state line by 15:08. We stop for gas at 15:30 and got 50 gallons. At 16:38 we turn off of US-395 on to US 50 East bound. When we reach Silver Springs we turned north on Alt US-95 that took us up to Fernley where we stop for the night at a Best Westen.

June 28, 2005 at 7:26 we were on the road again, this time east on I-80/Alt US-95. At Winnemucca we stop at a Flying J for 40 gallons of gas at 9:51am. Leaving the Flying J we turn north on US-95 and reaching the Nev/Or state line at 11:16am. About 40 miles up US-95 we have a time change, from 12:00am Pacific time to 13:00 Mountain time. At 14:07 we pulled in to a reat area so we could make lunch. After leaving the rest area at 14:30 we hit the Or/Id state at 14:55. At 16:02 we left US-95 and took I-84 west bound, then the time change from 16:05 Mountain time to 15:05 Pacific time. At 18:49, almost three hours after the time change we left I-84 turning north on US-395 at Stanfield and on to Hermiston then at Umatilla we took I-82/US-395 north out of Oregon over the Columbia River into the state Washington. Leaving I-82, but staying on US-395 on to Kennewick up to Pasco where we spent the night a the Aerro Head RV park. Note: we called Joe and Joan who were on the way to Seattle and was soon where in Montana and would be west of us before we would be able to get to I-90 in the morning.

June 29, 2005, getting 30 gallons gas at a Flying J that was just next to Aerro Head RV park before heading north US-95 by 8:02am. We called Joe and Joan again once we were on the road, they were near Moses Lake on I-90 and ask where we were so maybe we could get together for breakfast somewhere. Looking on the map there was a Masa(where US-395 and hwy 17 meet, so we agreed to meet there. Well there was not a place in Masa to eat but was told about ten miles up US-395 at Connell we could get breakfast, so off we went and found a place. It was great to able to meet up with them. We left the resterant at 10:23 and back on to US-395 north bound to I-90. Reaching I-90/US-395 east bound at 11:05 and then in Spokane at 12:02 we turned off of I-90 on to US-95 north bound for about 40 miles taking North Shore Rd to the Little Diamond TTN camp ground by about 13:06.

June 30, 2005 - July 04, 2005, over this time we visited with Briana and her family. We also made a trip down to Liberty Lake to spend the day with Mike and Betty.

July 05, 2005, We pulled out of Little Diamon before 6:30am, stopping a SafeWay in Newport for 66 gallons of gas before heading east on US-2 at 7:08. At 7:11 we crossed the state line WA/ID on in to Sand Point where I had a front end alingement on the motor home. While the motor home was in the shop we net Briana for breakfast. Departed Sand Point south bound on US-95 at 9:41am. Made a left turn off of US-95 on to I-90 east bound at 10:54am. Crossed the ID/MT state line and from 12:04 Pacific time to 13:04 Mountain time. An hour later we stop at a rest area to make lunch. We drove on until 17:35 when we stop for 40 gallons of gas at the Flying J in Butte, MT., also change picked up a filter and installed it while Barbara got some KFC for supper. It was 22:31 when stop for the night at a rest area for supper when we eat our chicken.

July 06, 2005, Up early and left the rest area by 6:48 heading east on I-90. Pulled off at exit# 455 to Flying J and put 40 gallons of in. We dump the tanks before leaving Flying J at 7:53am. Driving on for a hour when we took US-202 to the little Big Horn Battlefield. We pulled out of the battlefield at 9:53am and back on to I-90. We crossed the MT/WY state line at 10:45am. Stopping at a parking area to fix something for lunch at 11:49am and leaving at 12:27. After an hour we taken exit# 126 to a Flying J for 25 gallons of gas and some ice cream then back on the road by 14:54. We crossed the WY/SD state line at 16:15 and an hour later we stop for 60 gallons of gas at a Flying J. We drove about fifty miles to exit# 109, that exit was for Wall Drug so we stop to get something to eat and look around the town. We stay alittle over a hour there before heading east bound on I-90 at 20:18. We went from 21:26 Mountain time to 22:26 Centrol time. The day's travel ended at 23:52 in a rest area.

July 07, 2005, Were on the road by 7:18 heading east to exit#332, got some gas a Citco then on I-90 eastbound. At 9:14 headed south on US 81, that would take on in to Yankton SD. Stop at Wal-Mart and took the car to Aunt Hilda's where we had lunch with her, Deletta and Don. Left Aunt Hilda, back to Wal-Mart, hookup the car, headed south on US 81 to SD-50 then stop for gas before goetting out of Yankton, and was back on the SD-50 Eastbound, catch I-29 southbound into Iowa, then to I-680 then to I-80 before stopping at a rest area for the night.

July 08, 2005, Up early again and on the road by 7:08, stop for gas around 8AM, headed east and by 11:35 was over the Missippippi River into IL took I-280 to I-74 south on into IN. Catch I-465 then I-70 before stopping the night at a rest area.

July 09, 2005, Today, head on east on I-70 into Ohio to I-270 north to I-71. At exit #244 got off and went to a K-Mart unjooked the truck and heading to the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame, had a good time. Got back and headed east catch I-90 to Exit 223(hwy 45) to TTN.

July 10, 2005, Well here it is the last day on the road for a while, it was all most 8 before pulling out of TTN, back to I-90 to the PA state line then on I-86 Eastbound to NY state line. Drove on the I-86 to Hwy 17, got off at exit#99 to get some Ice Cream, not a good idea so headed back onto hwy 17 again. At 4:47 PM took hwy 17A to Florida and Black Bear RV Park.

July 11-27, 2005, visited with Laurie and family, was there when Samantha was born on the 18th.

July 28, 2005, Left Black Bear early, Nick was going with so he could visit with his dad in VA, took hwy 17A to US-6 then on I-84 south. Crossed into PA then from I-84 to I-380 north to I-81 south through Maryland, West Virgena then turning east onto I-66 and catching US340 to Front Royal and Skyline Ranch Resort where we stayed in the Shanandoak Vally.

July 29 - Aug 01, 2005, We took Nick the Skyline Cavers then the next day we meet Tony at the Dulles airport and they went to Nick's uncle Larry's for the weekend. We stop in Manassas but the museum was closed. We picked Nick up back at the airport and Tony fly back to California and Nick flew back to NY.

Aug 02, 2005, Left out early so we could get to TTN-Carolina Landing before night fall, headed back out CR-619 to US-340 to I-66 to I-81 to I-77 in to North Carolina to I-85 and in to South Carolina then took exit #4 to TTN Carolina Landing before dark.

Aug 04, 2005, Today would a short travel day, left around 8:13 and headed out to I-85 southbound crossed in GA about 8:30. Got off of I-85 onto I-285, then off onto South Atlanta Rd and parked at Publex Market on the East West Connector. Visited with Cinda and Ben the rest of that day and the next.

Aug 06, 2005, Pulled out of the Publex around 8:50 and took South Cobb to I-285 south, then I-75. Stop for gas and then again to get some peachs. By 2:30 PM we make it to the Florida State line and by 5:30 we pulled into Ralph's. We stayed there for the next day before heading over to TTN-Orlando

Aug 08 - Sept 03, 2005, we went back and forth for Orlando to Ralph's every week or two.

Sept 04, 2005, We pulled out of TTN-Orlando around 8AM and headed north US-27, I-75 to the FL/GA state line, took on some gas at exit #2 and again at exit #201. On up I-75 to I-675 and got off a exit #1 to Wal-mart to meet up with Cinda and Ben for just a short visit before heading out again by way GA-138 to I-75 to 285 to I-20 westbound. Hit the GA/Al state around 6:25PM, at I-20 exit#123 took US-78 west on the the Missippippi state line and Welcoming station where we stop for the night at about 10PM. That day we seen National Gaurd convoys heading west on I-20, maybe to the Gulf coast for support of haricane Katrina.

Sept 05 - 07 2005, Left the welcoming station onto US-87, at the TN state line by 8:20, on US-87 to I-240 to I-55, AR state line by 8:45, on I-55 to I-40, by 2:30PM was crossing into OK and the TX state line at 10:15PM and stop at a rest area at 11:05 to get some sleep for the night. Up early and on the road by 6:19, hit the TX/NM state line by 9:06, well 8:06 Mountian time. After driving all day and stopping only for gas and to get something to eat we crossed over the AZ state line at 4:36PM and then on to MM-183 rest area for some rest at 8:50PM. Up early again to head west on I-40 by 6:35, stopping for gas just before we hit the California border by 9:32AM, time change 8:32AM, stay on I-40 until reaching I-15 then to CA-58, US-395, SCLB and home 1237 North Erwin St., by 2:53PM..................
