My Trip from Lake Charles, to Ridgecrest in 1998
By way of Pensacola, Meridian, Atlanta, Bossier City, OK City, Denver, Grand Juntion, LasVegas
Leaving Lake Charles for Pensacola with the hope of looking for some land in that area to buy(well didn't find any). Then on to Meridian to visit with Yoda(LCD Jeff Thomson), went out for dinner at "Charles" and got at tour of the city. Up early to head out to Atlanta and to Cinda and Ben for three days, had a great visit. Up real early(4:30AM) to head to Bossier City to visit with vicki and Brian. Spent one night with them. Again on the road early for Sara and Ken's in Edmond OK., was there two night, we went to the "Cowboy Hall of Fame" in Oklahoma City. Back on the road early the next morning to Denver, Co., where I wanted to stop to see Kevin Arnol, after finding his home I found out his wive Trish just had a baby at 3pm today so I will head on down the road before stopping to sleep. Well I made it to Grand Juntion, CO., where I found a motel for the night. The next morning when I came out of the motel room I seen an A-6 aircraft on a stick across the road, it was one from VX-5 in China Lake, CA. then looking the right there was a F-11(Blue Angles # 1), what a suprise. Westward I went to Las Vegas where I stop at the GoldCoast and plays some slots for a hour or so. Now on to California and Ridgecrest before 9PM.
