  GUDE, Donna, 56, of Tampa, formerly of Dade City, died Monday, June 14, 2004, at LifePath Hospice Care Center in Sun City Center. She was born on August 10, 1947, in Dade City and received her education in Dade City Schools. She worked as a telephone operator for General Telephone and Verizon for 33 years. She spent nine years employed in Lexington, Ky., and upon retiring, returned to Tampa in 2002. She was Catholic and a member of Christ the King parish in Tampa. She is survived by her parents, Florian and Sylvia Gude of Dade City; five sisters and their husbands, Susan Kelly (Michael), Nancy Pumo (Bennet), Deborah Hawkins (Steven), Constance Parsons (Harry) and Rebeccah Cardillo (Peter); four nephews, Bennet Pumo Jr. (Elizabeth), David Hawkins, Charles Kelly and Peter J. Cardillo; seven nieces, Shannon Fleming (Matthew), Jennifer Pumo, Stephanie Hawkins, Jessica and Erin Cardillo, and Claire and Rachel Parsons; and a great- grand niece, Alyssa Pumo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 17, 2004, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Henry Riffle as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. and a Wake and Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday (today), June 16, 2004, at the church.

  Marilyn Susan Kelly
  KELLY, Marilyn Susan, 55, of Dade City, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center. She was born August 12, 1949, in Dade City and received her education in local schools. She graduated from Santa Fe Catholic High School in Lakeland and received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Florida State University and a master's degree in vocational administration from the University of South Florida. She worked in public health and later taught at Pasco High School for 25 years. Susan was very popular with her students and known for her wit and outgoing personality. A loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend, she will be truly missed by all who knew her. Susan was a Roman Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Joseph. Survivors include her husband, Michael Kelly of St. Joseph; a son, Charles Kelly of Tallahassee; a daughter, Shannon Fleming and her husband, Matthew, of Land O' Lakes; her parents, Florian and Sylvia Gude of St. Joseph; he r four siblings, Nancy Pumo and her husband, Bennet, Deborah Hawkins and her husband, Steven, Connie Parsons and her husband, Harry, and Rebeccah Cardillo and her husband, Peter; brothers-in-law, Harry Kelly (Rosemary), Charles (Maryann) and Pat (Betty Jo); sister-in-law, Carleen Shepp (Frank); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Gude. The family will receive friends and host a vigil service 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2005. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005. All services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Joseph. He was prede-ceased by his wife, Frances Gude Pitcher of Dade City, and survived by three children, Sonya Kleih, John Pitcher, and Jennifer Incontrera; and four grandchildren. He was retired from the Florida Auditor General's office. He actively enjoyed dancing at Bachelors and Belles. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.   GUDE, Sylvia G. 88, died June 25, 2016. She was born in San Antonio, FL, September 19, 1927. She attended St. Anthony's Catholic Church and School, San Antonio, FL, and Ursuline Academy, Arcadia, MO. She graduated high school at Holy Name Academy, St. Leo, FL. She met her beloved husband, Florian Gude, in 1942. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Since her marriage in 1946, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Joe, FL. Together they raised six daughters and welcomed five sons-in-law into the family. A voracious reader, she was a weekly patron of Hugh Embry Public Library, Dade City, FL. Biographies of American presidents and other world leaders were her favorites. She also enjoyed her San Antonio Garden Club and Red Hat Society memberships. Sylvia was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Ruth (Mickler) Govreau; her brothers, Michael Yulee Govreau and Leo Govreau; her sisters, Ruth Hicks (Gordon), Rosemary Govreau, and Norma Govreau; her daughters, Donna Gude and Marilyn Susan Kelly; and her son-in-law, Lilbert Stephen Hawkins. In addition to her loving husband, Florian, she is survived by four children, Nancy Pumo (Ben), Debbie Hawkins, Connie Parsons (Harry), and Rebeccah Cardillo (Pete); eleven grandchildren, Shannon Fleming (Matt), Charles Kelly (Nicole), Bennet Pumo Jr. (Liz), Jennifer Pumo, Stephanie Hawkins-Polson (Stephen), David Hawkins, Claire Winfree (Wesley), Rachel Parsons, Jessica Cardillo (Adam), Peter Cardillo, and Erin Cardillo; and seven great-grandchildren, Grace Fleming, Crosby Kelly, Alyssa Pumo, Khai Otto, Isabella Polson, Caleb Fisher, and Leila Fisher. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Vincent Govreau; her son-in-law, Michael Kelly (Jeanie); sister-in-law, Sophie Storch; brothers-in-law, Frank Gude and Carl Gude (Louise); and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, from 5:00-7:00 pm, followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm, and a Roman Catholic funeral Mass on Thursday, June 30, at 10:00 am.
