"Rose Marie (Nathe) Nikolai"
96, of Dade City, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003. A native of St. Joseph, she had been a lifelong resident of this area. She is survived by three sons, Bob and wife Suzy Nikolai of Dade City, Joe and wife Ali Nikolai of Waldorf, Md., and Pat and wife Janelle Nikolai of Dade City; three daughters, Margie and husband George Lambert of Niceville, Fla., Laura and husband Stu Lang of Tampa , and Susan and husband Jerry Myer of Tampa; one sister, Agnes Burke of San Antonio, Fla.; 28 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, A.J. Nikolai; one son, Peter Nikolai and two daughters, Betty Sumner and Cookie Gosselin. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Rita Catholic Church with Rev. John Hays as celebrant. Burial will follo w at Floral Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6-7:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Coleman & Ferguson Funeral Home where a rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

NIKOLAI, ROSE MARIE (NATHE),
96, of Dade City, died Wednesday (March 26, 2003) in Zephyrhills.
Born in St. Joseph (Dade City), she was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a homemaker and member of St. Rita Catholic Church for 75 years. Survivors include three sons, Bob and Pat, both of Dade City, and Joe, Waldorf, Md.; three daughters, Margie Lambert, Niceville, Laura Lang and Susan Myer, both of Tampa; a sister, Agnes Burke, San Antonio; 28 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. GARDEN CLUB WILL CELEBRATE WOMAN'S 90th BIRTHDAY Series: EAST PASCO
The Dade City Garden Club will be the site for a 90th birthday party for Rose Marie Nathe Nikolai from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Nikolai was one of 14 children born to Casper Joseph and Elizabeth Barthle Nathe, early settlers of St. Joseph. Her memories include traveling to Dade City from St. Joseph by horse and buggy and working in her father's cotton field near Lake Iola. She was a telephone operator for the phone company and is a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church.
She married A. J. Nikolai in 1928. Their nine children are Betty N. Sumner of Dade City; Margaret N. Lambert of Niceville; Peter J. Nikolai of Houston; Robert L. Nikolai of Dade City; Rose Marie "Cookie" Gosselin of Dade City; Joseph G. Nikolai of Waldorf, Md.; J. Patrick Nikolai of Dade City; and Laura N. Lang and Susan N. Myers, both of Tampa. All friends and relatives are invited to attend the party.
