My name is Robert Stanley Ondrovic--Confirmation name Michael, second son of
Clara Anna Barthle Ondrovic.
I was born on November 10, 1946 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in good olde Dade City FL.
We moved to Tampa in 1948 where I still reside---currently at 6703 Willow Spring Court.
I went to Kindergarten at OLPH, grade school at Christ the King, and then graduated from
high school at Jesuit in 1964. After attending St. Leo College for a year, I was drafted in the
U.S. Army in February 1966 where I took basic at Fort Benning then assigned as permanent
party at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico then transferred to Zirndorf, West Germany
for the remainder of my 2 years.
I worked for General Telephone till July 1971 when we parted company on disagreement with
company policy. After odd jobs and school at Tampa College on the G.I.bill I actually got an AA degree in computer
programming in 1974 I followed my father career with the U.S. Postal Service where I am a mailhandler
to this day.
I got married June 14, 1975 to Rosemary -Confirmation name Theresa-- Lala, adopted daughter of
Peter and Helen Bird Lala born November 16, 1948 at Salvation Army Hospital, Tampa.
We have a son Joseph (Joey) Dwight -- Confirmation name Peter--Ondrovic born at Women's Hospital in
Tampa July 7, 1977
Our family attends Church of the Incarnation Catholic church on Webb Road at West Hillsborough
Avenue in Tampa.
