The life of Marvin Andrew Hays

Marvin A. Hays, 60, of Dade City, died June 7, 2023

Marvin was born and raised in Dade City, FL, only living elsewhere while serving his country in the Air Force.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 10 years.

He loved to socialize and spend time with his family and friends. With a kind heart, he made friends with anyone he met.
Marvin also enjoyed listening to music and relaxing while fishing.

Never missing mass, he was a devout Catholic and a cherished member of St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Ridge Manor, FL.

Marvin is survived by his children: Josh, Christopher, Brandon Hays and Jamielynn Melendez (Daniel); his grandchildren: Jericho Hays, Grayson Hays, Jayden, Josiah, and Jillian Melendez; his father, Samuel Hays; his siblings: Lorise Seifert (Mark), Allan Hays (Elizabeth), Becky Hays, Harry Hays (Kathleen), John Hays, Betsey Saut (George), Sandra Hays (Jamie); along with 18 nieces and nephews and numerous aunts and uncles whom he loved dearly.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Anne Genevieve Hays.

A Funeral Mass will be held 3:00pm Saturday, July 8, 2023, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Ridge Manor.

The family will receive friends from 1:30pm to 2:30pm and a Rosary Service will take place at 2:30pm, Funeral Mass to follow at 3:00pm.
