The life of Andrew John Clayton "Clay" Blommel
(The third son of Linda & John Blommel)
Andrew John Clayton Blommel
Aug 24, 1978 - Nov 17, 2025
Andrew John Clayton Blommel, 47, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on August 24, 1978, Clay lived a life marked by kindness, hard work, and a deep devotion to those he loved.
Clay was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud dog dad whose heart was always with his family. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Andrew and Aubrey, who were the center of his world.
He is also survived by his parents, John and Linda Blommel; his brothers, Chris (Karen) and Matt (Jenny) Blommel; his beloved niece and nephews; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Clay dedicated several years of service as an employee of TECO, where he was respected for his strong work ethic, reliability, and the kindness he showed to everyone he worked with. Clay was also a proud member of Anytime Fitness in Dade City, where he spent countless hours staying active and building friendships.
Clay touched countless lives with his gentle spirit and selfless heart. He had a way of showing up for others without being asked, offering encouragement, laughter, warmth and hugs. His legacy of love, loyalty, and quiet strength will live on through the family and friends who were blessed to know him.
Clay will be deeply missed, but the impact he made in his 47 years will continue to shine through the lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life will take place on December 1, 2025, from 4–8 p.m. at Waller Ranch, 17307 Powerline Road, Dade City, FL
